The Independent Sponsor Ecosystem in Europe

Europe's independent sponsor market is coming of age, and IPEM is mapping its evolution.

Earlier this year, we opened submissions for the first market map of European-headquartered Independent Sponsors, building on the launch of the inaugural Independent Sponsor Summit at IPEM Wealth in Cannes.

The first version of this directory includes more than 100 ISPs and 85 active investors operating across Europe. We have analysed this dataset to paint a picture of the current state of the market, which will be presented at a second Independent Sponsor Summit at IPEM Global in Paris this September.

Our goal is to give those in the space a clear view of the landscape as it develops, helping connect experienced sponsors with capital sources seeking direct exposure to opportunities and provide LPs with a clear view of the landscape as it develops.
