Dynasty’s latest plot twist sees the RIA platform turning up the drama in private markets, closing more than $200 million of funds over the past nine months. Its Dynasty Growth Equity & Coinvest I fund raised $110 million, comfortably beating its original $100 million target. Dynasty Financial Partners’ CIO, Bob Shea, said: “It’s a testament to our ability to deliver compelling private market solutions with attractive fees to our partners.” The latest storyline is a co-investment in NOBULL, the $1 billion footwear and training brand backed by Mike Repole and Tom Brady, with Dynasty taking roughly 3% alongside Repole’s family office. Dynasty says its proprietary sourcing engine is also opening the door to pre-IPO companies, sports assets and take-private deals — giving its 700-plus advisor network access to opportunities that traditionally sat behind institutional velvet ropes. With another private fund already in the works, this particular Dynasty looks like it has plenty more plot twists in store.
