Private infrastructure goes digital, as Asseto opens institutional-grade access to a broader investor base.

Private infrastructure has traditionally been a members-only club, accessible mainly to large institutional investors with the scale, expertise and relationships needed to participate. Now, Asseto is opening a new route into the asset class with NGI+, a digital investment product linked to Partners Group Next Generation Infrastructure, a private infrastructure strategy managed by one of the world’s largest private markets firms. The strategy provides exposure to essential infrastructure assets across areas such as digitalization, energy transition and changing patterns of how people live and work — themes that are driving long-term demand for infrastructure investment. By using new technology to represent ownership interests in the underlying fund, NGI+ aims to make a traditionally complex and illiquid asset class easier to access, while bringing greater transparency and flexibility to the investment process. As private markets continue to evolve beyond traditional structures, private infrastructure gets a passport, moving from an exclusive institutional asset class towards a broader investor audience.
