UK-listed Schroders has partnered with US alternatives giant Apollo Global Management to launch next-generation wealth and retirement products blending public and private market exposures. The deal will see Schroders and Schroders Capital co-develop hybrid solutions combining fixed income and private markets, with the first product expected in late 2026. Schroders will also gain the ability to allocate client capital into Apollo strategies, extending its reach into private assets. A core element is a planned Collective Investment Trust for the US defined contribution market in Q2, targeting demand for diversified, long-term solutions. By combining Apollo’s private markets platform with Schroders’ active management heritage, the deal strengthens both firms’ ability to serve investor demand for private markets and enhanced income – a blend that just got a little more potent.
